Gain your CIM Qualification Online through ‘Live’ Virtual Courses

Marketing Tom has always delivered face-to-face digital marketing courses but the current climate has meant that we have to offer most of our courses as Virtual Classrooms and this includes our CIM Qualifications. We are not completely new to Remote Learning and have delivered quite a few courses over the past couple of years.

The primary applications we use are WebEx and Zoom which allow us to display slides online, share our browser window and communicate seamlessly with students.

Our tutors have now had extensive exerience of delivering through this medium, providing feedback sessions to it and even delivering assignment preparation. In short, we are well used to delivering courses now through zoom and WebEx.

How does this all work?

It is pretty simple really. Here’s what you need:

1. a laptop, desktop or tablet device,
2. an Internet connection
3. the Zoom application.

We are aware that some of our students may be new to Zoom/WebEx and we undertsand this. Therefore, before courses start we are available in the days beforehand to test that everything works should you need it.

So, how are our CIM Qualifications delivered?

Whether it’s the CIM Level 3, 4 or 6 qualifications your tutor will primarily deliver the course through PowerPoint, though there will a lot of discussion and student participation and some work will be done by tutors on flipcharts.

Tutors also make use of breakout rooms and whiteboards to make sessions as interactive as possible. As we are using WebEx/Zoom tutors will also be able to share other resources online such as browser (web) pages and other applications.
