I have just finalised the date for the next Social Media Marketing Workshop. It will be held on the 29th April, 2009 at ESIS Conference Centre in Treforest, just outside Cardiff.
The Social Media Marketing workshop aims to show how companies and organisations can harness the power of new tools and applications such as Facebook, Flickr, Blogging, YouTube, Twitter, Online PR, Social Bookmarking, Wikis and more to reach new audiences and to build their online communities.
Want to understand how blogs could help you communicate better with your customers? Or how Flickr and YouTube can be harnessed as your own media channels? This interactive workshop and, amongst other things, will open the lid on Facebook’s business applications and show you how to set up a Twitter account. We will also explore Social Media case studies from around the globe. Fundamentally, it will start you thinking about how to devise a Social Media Marketing Strategy for your own organisation.
Group discussion also allows us to discover what the pitfalls and possible solutions could be. The workshop costs £175 (+VAT) and the maximum number will probably be around 12. Both of the last wokshops have been over-subscribed, so it would be a good idea to get your Booking Form in sooner rather than later.
