Scheduling Posts On Social Media

Most Social Media updates are done in real-time, using the desktop interfaces and mobile apps of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Path, etc. some people are using apps like Tweetdeck and Hootsuite to schedule posts but evidence suggests that using third-party apps to publish to sites (like Facebook) could result in 67% fewer likes. Well, for those with Facebook Business Pages help is at hand from… Facebook.

Facebook now allows you (it has since June!) to pre-schedule updates from within your Facebook Fan Page. And here’s just how to do this. One writing your update you will notice the clock symbol in the bottom left of the update box, select this and add in your schedule requirements. That’s it!

Apparently, this also means that you won’t get penalised by Facebook itself for using a third-party app.
